Just so everyone knows, Anastasia was NOT made by Disney. The movie was made by Twentieth Century FOX (who also made Titan A.E.). It is a common misconseption. XD

I love the movie Anastasia, and this deviation is waay overdue. Whenever I watch the movie, I have to watch it at least twice in a row. Don't ask me why, but I just always end up doing that. The music in it is amazing, and I like the cartoony/realistic mix for the character designs. (Especially on Anya and Dimitri)

Great job! I love that movie too. Once upon a december is my favorite song by far. The others are amazing though.

It's a fav of mine too.. Mainly cuz I didn't get to watch it when I was younger. :doh: It's out of spite for my mom. :nana: :XD:
Yeah, they also used the same combination of animation/real-life work for the cartoon film The Lord of the Rings. :D

Lovely drawing! I love the way you've drawn her face and hair, and the necklace is a nice touch. That was such a cute scene in the movie. :) Would it be alright with you if I colored this?

I agree with you about the character designs-- it is nice to see a little bit of realism in an animated film.
