Just so everyone knows, Anastasia was NOT made by Disney. The movie was made by Twentieth Century FOX (who also made Titan A.E.). It is a common misconseption. XD
I love the movie Anastasia, and this deviation is waay overdue. Whenever I watch the movie, I have to watch it at least twice in a row. Don't ask me why, but I just always end up doing that. The music in it is amazing, and I like the cartoony/realistic mix for the character designs. (Especially on Anya and Dimitri)
Lovely work! It's a fav of mine too.. Mainly cuz I didn't get to watch it when I was younger. It's out of spite for my mom. Yeah, they also used the same combination of animation/real-life work for the cartoon film The Lord of the Rings.

Lovely drawing! I love the way you've drawn her face and hair, and the necklace is a nice touch. That was such a cute scene in the movie. Would it be alright with you if I colored this?
I agree with you about the character designs-- it is nice to see a little bit of realism in an animated film.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
